Cardinality of Sets Under Determinacy
Abstract:
The axiom of determinacy (AD) is the assertion that
any infinite game in which two players pick natural numbers
to form an infinite sequence of natural numbers has a
winning strategy for one of the two players. This talk will
discuss infinitary combinatorics and its application to the
study of the size or cardinality of infinite sets under the axiom
of determinacy.
