Accommodation information
Regarding accommodation for the Birthday Conference and the VOrST:
- There is no standard accommodation for conference participants. Some will stay at the (a bit upscale) Hotel Kaiserhof, others at Trend Hotel Theresianum or Hotel Erzherzog Rainer.
- Of course there are many other hotels close to the venue (TU Wien, Wiedner Hauptstrasse 8, 1040 Wien), many of which (not Theresianum, though) can be booked via the usual booking sites.
- We recommend to book early (more popular hotels may be fully booked soon).
- We might be able to organize a few inexpensive student dorm rooms (not very close to TU; the start as well as end day has to be on a Mon-Fri, minimum stay 7 nights, linen is provided but no towels; if available, a 14 day stay would be ~700 EUR; shorter stays are relatively more expensive). If you are interested in this, please contact us (the sooner the higher the chance we can organize something).
