The Research Unit 1 (Algebra) (FG1, Forschungsgruppe 1) is one of seven research units of the Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry, established in 2004. Our research concentrates on Universal Algebra and Set Theory; for more details please consult the following pages:

In addition, some of our members are interested in other fields of algebra, number theory, and education of math teachers.
