Adeline Pierrot

I am currently a post-doc in the team Combinatorics and Algorithms at the Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry (Institut für Diskrete Mathematik und Geometrie) of the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien).

Before that, I was a PhD student and teaching assistant in the team combinatorics at LIAFA, theoretical computer science lab of the University Paris Diderot - Paris 7.

I defended my thesis on June 26, 2013. It is called Combinatorics and algorithms in permutation classes.

My research is dedicated to the study of permutation patterns, structure of permutation classes and stack-sorting, in enumerative and analytic combinatorics, in algorithmics, and for random generation.

I am part of the working group Aléa of the larger research group GdR-IM, of the French ANR project Magnum (2010-2014), and of the Special Research Program (SFB) Algorithmic and Enumerative Combinatorics, a four-year programme (March 1, 2013 - Feb. 28, 2017) funded by the Austrian Science Foundation FWF.

Here you can find my CV.
